WCAG Reflow criterion (1.4.10)
Accessibility is important to us. We want to comply with the WCAG accessibility guidelines (AA 2.2.) as far as possible. With regard to the reflow criterion (1.4.10), you refer to an exception in the WCAG guidelines that relates to presentations, among other things. Two-dimensional scrolling is currently necessary when using the zoom.
We would like to know:
- Are there already efforts to adapt with regard to the reflow criterion?
- 2. Are adjustments planned in the near future?
FYI: We do not work with responsive design.

Is there any timeline for this issue to be resolved? I also need to be able to adjust the focus order of a master slide. I have a clickable table of contents on a master slide layer - this allows users to jump to specific points in my course - however, they can only do this with a mouse since I cannot adjust the focus order. Are there any work arounds short of me putting the menu layer on every single slide?

For anyone still having an issue my coworker realized a workaround. You can go to the slide master, right click on an element in the timeline, select Accessibility from the pop up menu, and then un-check the object is visible to accessibility tools. This seems to have worked for me!

Hi Andrea. Thanks for getting back to me. For the second I was thinking of just copying and pasting the Focus Order location of objects not the objects themselves. Since I have my custom buttons on the Master slide and other objects on the individual slides it would be great to setup the Master slide items ( buttons and text boxes-Topic title, Page title, and Body text ) Focus Order and then copy and paste that order to each slide ( since I can't do it on the Master ). Hope that makes sense.
Hello Russ!

Hello Russ!
The Focus Order is set for each slide rather than on the Master Slide. I understand that you'd like for there to be a Focus Order button on the Master Slide, as well as the option to copy and paste the Focus Order on other slides. For the second request, are you interested in copying and pasting objects which include their spot in the Focus Order?
I'm happy to share these requests with my team and I'll update you if this makes it on our roadmap!

Hello Andrea.
I think that having the possibility of at least modifying in some way the focus order of the Master Slide would be really helpful. I'm aware that the focus order should be set individually for each slide, but having a solid base would be great to simplify the task.
Hello MartinUhrig!
Based on your mention of the exception in 1.4.10 in our VPAT, I assume you are creating your courses using Storyline 360. The exception listed is taken from the WCAG guideline for 1.4.10 Reflow, and we do not plan to change this behavior in Storyline. Storyline 360 has a responsive player that adapts to the learner's screen size and orientation, but the slide content maintains its aspect ratio.
Does that answer your questions? I'm a tad confused because it sounds like you asked if we have plans to make Storyline fully responsive but then mentioned that you're not doing responsive design.
Rise 360 courses are fully responsive and automatically adapt to any screen size and orientation.- MartinUhrigCommunity Member
Thank you for your prompt response—it has already been very helpful. I appreciate the clarification regarding responsive design; it seems there was a misunderstanding on this point.
