What Causes a Discussion to Be Reported?
I just posted a new discussion and shortly after doing so, it switched to a "Reported" status. When I posted it, I had to respond to a spam filter and when I saw is status change, I thought perhaps I had responded incorrectly causing the status change. I deleted my original post and recreated it but it also switched to a "Reported" status. What causes this? Does the status cause it to be reviewed by staff and if approved, the "Reported" status is removed?

Hi @Leslie,
My posts are being auto-reported as well; not sure why, or how to get them released (or not auto-reported in the first place?). Also not sure who to contact about it...? Submitting a case to support seems to be for software issues, not forum issues, and the "Success Team" seems to only deal with purchasing issues.
Hello Derjis and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
All your posts are currently active. I took a look at your profile and it is probably because:
- You're a new user - and we want to make sure you're not a bot/spam.
Another reason is typically too many posts in a short amount of time.
We do manually check the content and release valid posts. You can always contact us via support case if you have any questions or issues.
Hi, Jaer!
Your post is now live, here.
Hi David,
We have a number of automatic spam filtering tools that are used within the E-Learning Heroes community, and individuals can also report a post that they think looks suspicious or like spam using that option "Report" below any post.
All those posts are reviewed by folks on the ELH team, so we can release false positives or look to remove spam from within the Community. I don't currently see any flagged posts, so it looks like the other discussion you either deleted or is now live.
Let me know if you don't see it or are still having trouble!

Thanks! Kind of what I suspected but when I searched for "discussion reported", I couldn't find a definitive answer. One item in my search results seemed to apply but when I clicked it, the discussion that opened did not match the one that appeared in my search results. This discussion is now included in the search results though. :-)
