Width Inconsistency with AI Audio in Rise 360

Hello eLearning Heroes,

First off the option to add AI is amazing feature and does enrich the course and reduce the need to add AI audio in Storyline first! But...

I've been working with Rise 360 and encountered another frustrating inconsistency when using AI-generated audio. When I add AI audio below a text block, the audio block appears nice and wide. However, when using the AI audio block directly, the item span is noticeably shorter.

I understand that Articulate has challenges with formatting, particularly with inconsistent item widths, but this is perplexing for the same type of item. The issue seems to stem from the "Content Width" setting, where even selecting Large (L), Medium (M), or Small (S) for paragraph text doesn't result in matching sizes with AI audio?  I can't set the content width for AI audio at all!

Has anyone else annoyed by this? There is no way to ensure consistency in the appearance of AI audio blocks within Rise 360!

The only reply I expect is: Make a Feature request and check back in 2 to 7 years!

  • Hi KaneB!

Great to hear that you've been exploring AI-Audio Blocks in Rise 360!

As you've mentioned, adjusting the width of singular AI-Audio Blocks is not currently supported. I do understand having more control over the sizing of the AI-Audio Block player, can allow for more consistent formatting. I've shared all of your feedback with our product team!

We'll be sure to notify you if we release a feature enhancement that helps!
