xAPI Full Capabilities in Rise
I'm building a number of Rise modules for a client and they love the platform, however they are looking for a solution that will allow them to capture robust metrics from the learning using xAPI to show how learners are interacting with the content. Examples include tracking Knowledge Check selections and attempts, interaction with audio, video and interactive blocks, etc. Currently the xAPI tracking in Rise is no different than what SCORM provides. Alternatively, could the content be exported in a way that allows developers to add in their own API statements post export? Data and analytics are becoming a massive ask from our clients and I'm still only able to accomplish this by building our own custom platforms.

Please add my vote too! This is needed.
Yeah this needs fixing so adding my vote, the way Rise quizzes report to our LRS is as good as useless for looking at trends so we're having to evaluate other options.
Adding my vote here as well. This is a very necessary feature for capturing meaningful data. Not having this capability limits my use of Rise, which is a shame because I love the app. Hopefully, we will be able to see this functionality added very soon.
Also adding my +1 here. Custom xAPI statements should be integral part of both Rise and Storyline. Little baffled that this isn't the case already considering Articulate is one of the leading eLearning authoring tool providers and it's not that xAPI is a brand new, not established protocol..

Is there any update here? Does Rise have any plan to truly integrate fully with all xAPI has to offer? If not, that's going to be a huge problem for a lot of people pretty soon.

This is another 2 year old thread with people looking for some kind of communication. Is there any chance of getting an actual update or some kind of roadmap?
