I wasn't able to attend any of the webinars live as I was always teaching during those times, but signed up for the "Quick Tips & Tricks: Episode 120" so I would get the link in my e-mail and remember to watch it! (Not sure if this counts for a badge).

I really appreciate the approach of discussing AI from the standpoint of making the workflow more efficient rather than replacing our human brains 👏

I had participated in the challenge using the Javascript animations which is SUCH a cool feature - worked surprisingly well.

I also really appreciated seeing the AI generation in real time. So often any tutorials showcase the "best case scenario" for new tools, which can be frustrating as the user when it seems to not be working correctly. Watching this happen in real time in a real way was a great reminder that sometimes it just takes a couple of tries. The newer image generation compared to the legacy is a huge step up. And I had no idea that in Rise the audio "style" can be changed with prompts!

I've spent more time in Storyline and have been very intentionally spending more time in Rise lately, and I've bookmarked this video to come back to because there are some great tips for block management

This is such a thoughtful comment, Caitlin_B! I agree with your point and appreciate you pointing out how important it is that discussions of new AI features are grounded and realistic. I have the exact same experience you're describing whenever I test out a new AI tool or feature (Articulate or otherwise!) that I'm always so impressed by what it can do, and at the same time usually need to take a few tries to figure out how to prompt it in the way it responds best to. Having that realistic view of how these things work can definitely preemp any frustration.

It's great to see you here *one badge away* from Globetrotter!

By the way, have we discussed the fact that you're an Orchestra Director?! That is so cool. Before working in tech I was actually a high school choir teacher :)

That's awesome! I did not know you taught high school choir. Music is pretty rad. 🎶

  • Oh wow! Thanks for the heads up. I lost track of my activity over the holiday period. Really great initiative, which highlighted a few areas of the site that I don't usually visit.
