AI Assistant in Rise: Show & Tell!

Whether you joined the Overview of AI Assistant in Rise session or you’re just starting to explore the feature, this thread is for you!

It’s Show & Tell time — we want to see what happens when you put AI Assistant to work in Rise.

✅ You can:

  • Share what you made (bonus points for screenshots!)
  • Describe your favorite AI prompt or surprise moment
  • Ask others how they’d approach something differently

💡 Not sure where to start? Try one of these:

  • Rewrite an intro paragraph block in a new tone or voice
  • Use AI Assistant to generate an image for your course
  • Use Instant Convert to transform an existing block into something new
  • Ask AI to brainstorm scenarios for your learners

🎯 Want a little extra challenge?

Create a “before and after” — show how AI Assistant transformed a block, image, or section of your course.

I took a word doc of the training outline we had on a particular topic; Legal and Regulatory compliance and used AI draft to pinpoint the states that are in our footprint: CT, MA, NY, NJ, NH and PA to speed up the content discovery process. I was able to iterate a course in less than a day.

That's incredible, Mnavarette! It sounds like AI Assistant is saving you lots of time in your course development process. Thanks for sharing this example!

Question: If there are mispronunciations in AI audio (ex: acronyms, names) can we manually edit the audio with phonetic spelling so the word/name can be pronounced correctly?

Hi bhutson! I recommend using the v3 model under advanced settings (shown below). This will ensure the most natural pronunciation for acronyms and names. If you're using v3 and a word is still mispronounced, you can try spelling it phonetically in the script.

If there's a particular word or acronym you're having trouble with, please let us know, and we can take a look!

I've had some words mispronounced. I spell them differently until they sound better and then remember to edit the transcript so its spelt correctly when the user opens the transcript up.

  • bhutson this is the solution I see community members talking about the most! Playing with spelling in the original transcript can help you get closer to correct pronunciations if the AI voice doesn't get it right the first time.
