Best Certification for Breaking into Instructional Design field
Thank you PaulaSuleiman Noele_Flowers JeanMarrapodi-c for your recommendation for building Instructional Design expertise.
As my mentee already has both a Master's Degree in Teaching and 15 years of experience as an educator, my recommendation for her will be the following:
1. https://workspace.oregonstate.edu/certificate/articulate-storyline-and-rise-certificate-program
If she needs more of a basis after completing the Articulate Storyline-Rise certificate, then:
2. https://professionalstudies.du.edu/comm/learning-and-development-graduate-certificate/ or https://ce.uci.edu/programs/business/elearning-instructional-design
My logic is that if working with Articulate 360 give this person the skills they need to get started, that will be a good base. But, if this person needs more training (and a graduate certificate) they can move on to a certificate program; AND, as they work through the certificate program they continue to develop and build assignments using Articulate 360.
I appreciate all of the insights shared on this thread. Thank you!
