Course Completion Certificates in Both SL and Rise
I know there has been a ton of discussion historically on this topic as well, is there any new updates on adding completion certificates to Rise and SL courses? Many regulatory bodies and review boards are looking for certificates of completion - and in an effort to avoid a paper process (since our poor LMS does not offer this option) 360.
Appreciate any and all input - Vicki
Hi VickiJohnson!
Thanks for checking in on this!
We're still tracking the feature requests to introduce certificates of completion in Rise and Storyline. I don't have any updates to share at the moment, but I've included your voice in both reports!
In the meantime, my teammate Sarah shared a course certificate Storyline Template you may find useful!

Just to add my voice to this as well 😊 - For ultimate accessibility we really need our modules to be able to trigger a certificate to be sent to an email address entered by the user. Using a mobile phone, not having access to a printer, having limited understanding of PDFs/attaching files etc are all barriers that make the 'print slide trigger' option too difficult for many users. Hopefully this feature can be offered in the near future!

Jessica -this is our issue as well. We have many non-techie users/learners, the print to pdf then attach to email will blow their minds. We are right now opting to run a completion report and to do an email meld function to email bunch certificates to our locations until an easier on the learner function happens. I know this functionality exists, as we do have our learners access some outsourced learning that offer it - so hopefully Articulate will offer sometime soon. In the meantime, I have a new monthly task :)

Thank you - I do like Sarah's template - and we can opt to print to PDF and have them email the cert to themselves. This could work for now.
