Embedded Vimeo Videos Freeze When Paused

A colleague alerted me to the following:
"...videos are freezing when users pause (to make notes/snapshots, etc.). When they start the video again, they are having to go out, and back into the video, and find their spot again. When they are pausing the video for just a brief moment, this isn't occurring."

Has anyone experienced this? If so, were you able to resolve?

I'm going to post something similar to Vimeo's site as well as I'm casting a wide net.
