- PhilipPinker972Community MemberAs a Learning and Development Manager, I’m passionate about creating meaningful, technology-enabled learning experiences that empower employees to grow and perform at their best. DevLearn offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore the latest innovations shaping the future of workplace learning—from AI and immersive technologies to data-driven insights that make development more impactful and measurable. I’m eager to connect with forward-thinking peers, exchange ideas, and gain hands-on experience with tools to help transform how we build skills and engagement across the organization. Attending DevLearn would allow me to bring back practical strategies and fresh inspiration to elevate our learning culture and drive measurable business results.
- tjnikoCommunity MemberI’ve had my eye on DevLearn ever since I stumbled across it just days before it kicked off last year—right after I landed in my current role. It felt like discovering a secret party I wasn’t invited to (yet). Articuland Atlanta sold out before I could even get approved. Since then, I’ve been cobbling together my professional development with free webinars, scrappy enthusiasm, and a lot of coffee. DevLearn would be like a Wonka golden ticket, a rare chance to immerse myself in high-quality, in-person learning and connect with others in the field. Our budget is so tight even if I was approved to take the time off, I'd have to pay myself. With my teammate going on maternity leave just two weeks after the conference, I have a tiny window to invest in development before I take on additional responsibilities shifting into solo mode through the holidays. I also know I’ll have to miss the Training Magazine conference early next year, even if I self-fund, due to coverage needs. Attending DevLearn now would make a serious impact on my skills and confidence heading into a busy season.
- eLadventurerCommunity MemberIt would be a fantastic opportunity because while I've been an ID for nearly 30 years and involved in eLearning to meet Section 508 standards, I am returning to SL seeing all the enhancements made over decades. I am excited to try it out and learn its ability to meet 508 requirements while easily creating eLearning that is engaging.
- ValerieZarycznyCommunity MemberA few years ago, my company started creating e-learning for PreK and early elementary educators, and I was asked to recommend the right tools. I chose Articulate 360, and we've been using it ever since to build resources for classroom teachers—The real-life heroes who need all the support we can give them right now. As an occupational therapist turned instructional designer, I've deepened my skills through certification and the incredible Articulate community, but I'm eager to take the next step. DevLearn represents exactly what I need right now: hands-on learning in visual design, AI integration, accessibility, scenario-based learning, and Storyline. These are skills that will directly elevate the resources we create for educators. Unfortunately, budget cuts meant canceling our usual conference this year, but DevLearn is honestly a better fit for my role than what we typically attend. Winning this ticket would mean continuing my growth as an instructional designer while bringing back practical strategies to better serve the educators who depend on our work.
- AliciaBlitzCommunity MemberI'll be there!
- TimAllen-8bed2eCommunity MemberI haven't been able to get to a DevLearn since 2016 and am longing to return! It was invaluable then to gather great ideas from peers and presentations, and to hunt down some specific solutions for our needs amongst the vendors. I only made it one other time before that, just before the birth of Articulate Storyline (2011?) and was excited to make my way onto the Beta list to preview it for my team. I have been a strong Articulate advocate since way before Storyline (remember "Studio", "Engage", and "Quizmaker"... 😁). I would love to spend time there focusing on the new Articulate AI features and other clever ways to leverage the tools and techniques of the trade. Thank you for this promotional chance at rekindling my faded Devlearn relationship!
- AndreaRitchie-1Community MemberI have dreamed of attending DevLearn for the last several years, but haven't yet been able to make it happen! Although I did convince my company to buy a subscription for Articulate, I know I'm only scratching the surface of ways to make it useful for our entire team and customer base. I would love to spend time learning from others and being inspired in new avenues!
- DBristolCommunity MemberWhy you want to go and/or what you hope to learn! Because I've never been and would learn so much!!
- AmyHeyman-c0289Community MemberHi there! I would absolutely love to attend the DevLearn conference. I have been in an ID position for 18 months and am ready to learn new and creative ways to engage learners. I would love to attend to learn more about AI integration ideas, and lastly I am responsible for the voice overs and am always looking for ways to improve!
- PattiyaCSUFCommunity MemberFirst of all, thank you for this opportunity! As a final year MSIDT student at CSU Fullerton, I’ve been learning best practices and theories in ID, while applying them as I interact with Articulate Storyline and Rise. The latest update of the custom blocks on Rise really excited me, and I experimented using them in a module I built for an assignment. The accessibility checker update was a game-changer for me as I became more familiar about developing with accessibility in mind. Ever since I fell in love with the field of ID, learning to use the Articulate platform has reminded me of the importance of being intentional with design. Even when there are so many interactions and visual elements available to use.
Attending DevLearn would be an incredible opportunity to get first-hand experience and learn how platforms such as Articulate and other L&D professionals use their toolkit and software to create actionable learning. My short answer is I would love to go to DevLearn because it reminds me to stay curious, keep learning, and embrace lifelong learning!
