I see. TBH, never had something like that happen to me.
If that's a one-time issue, happened only on a single slide, I would personally try to work around it (try to rebuild the slide from scratch, or export and paste this piece as an image .PNG), hopefully it would help.
I figured it out!! It was the font :-) I changed the font type and suddenly everything was fine. Thanks for your help.
