Images in Shapes - Stretch Options
I'm trying to create a click and reveal interaction using custom shape buttons.
I've created circles that I want to hold images representing a topic. However when I try to adjust the image using the Format Shape/Stretch Options instead of stretching the image it offsets it from the Shape Outline.
Is this fixable?
I know I can just create the image/shapes I want and then bring them into storyline but that becomes challenging when I start adding states.

Hey Katie - what are you trying to achieve using the stretch options?

Well first of all I was trying to better center the picture - there was more of the that was cut off by the frame of the shape. You can use similar settings in ppt to center or focus on a certain portion of the image. But the ultimate goal was to create custom image buttons. And if I correct the issue I'm experiencing in ppt I would have to import an image per state and size them accordingly - instead of having a shape in storyline that I edit directly.

Ah I think I get it - I don't think you can do that in Storyline - I think your best be is to edit the images outside of Storyline (e.g. Photoshop) so they are centred properly.

You could potentially insert as Images and use 'Crop' to centre them. If the images are square images, you can change the Picture shape to a circle. See the attached video which demonstrates what I was thinking.
