SL trigger for pressing a key

For our software simulations, we want to allow users to progress forward at a press of a key while not having to actually click anywhere on the slide. 

 

Has anyone found a way around this or a different trigger configuration that does not require actual slide interaction? 

 

Example: we want the user to click F2 to advance the slide, but the trigger requires a click selection be made that would not be necessary in the actual software.
