Just experimented with the avatar feature. I tried 3 versions 1) A cartoon-type character that I generated outside rise and uploaded, that worked out pretty well, though a cartoon character might not be appropriate for all trainings. 2) One of the stock illustrated characters, that worked ok, though the lip-sync felt a little strange. Maybe this was because the lips were moving a little to much, while other parts of the character were not moving at all. 3) One of the stock photorealistic characters. This one felt very creepy to me, deep inside the Uncanny Valley. Personally, I couldn't see using this in an actual training. I'd like to hear about other people's experiences with uploading photographs and other images and using them as avitars.
