Morph to Jump
A demo using Morph to simulate motion
While experimenting with the new Morph transition in Storyline, I discovered a fun way to make a frog look like it's jumping — instead of just sliding smoothly from one place to another.
Normally, Morph creates transitions between objects that are mostly the same.
But if you crop an object or add entrance animations, the glide effect changes. In this case, it adds just the right amount of bounce and tension to suggest a leap.
To enhance that, I added a small pulse animation during the jump.
You’ll also see a few info cards that morph in on each slide — always from the same direction, so everything feels consistent no matter where the frog lands.
You can explore the full setup in the included source file.
Maybe this gives you some ideas as we all start exploring what’s possible with the new Morph transition!
