Articulate Rise backend french language

Feb 10, 2021

Hello, I think it would be essential for your clients in Quebec Province to translate the Articulate Rise design interface. The CHARTER OF THE FRENCH LANGUAGE in Quebec requires companies to use software solutions in French in article 52.1:

"All computer software, including game software and operating systems, whether installed or uninstalled, must be available in French unless no French version exists [on the market].

Software can also be available in languages other than French, provided that the French version can be obtained on terms, except price where it reflects higher production or distribution costs, that are no less favourable and that it has technical characteristics that are at least equivalent."

Currently, given that other cloud solutions exist, it would not be possible for us according to the charter to use Rise.

Hi,
I am wondering if there are any developments regarding Rise interface translation to French.  As you know, although my account profile is French, the Rise interface remains in English.  Working for Quebec government, not having a French interface is very problematic. Other apps from Articulate 360 being offered in French, it is with surprise that we discovered that Rise interface was not translated.

This feature is not showing on your Feature Roadmap, any chance it would be added soon ? Or do we need to organize a feature request campaign ;-) ?

Thank you for your update !
Tina Marie
