This feature would be great to have. Most audio technology offers the playback speed as everyone learns at a different pace. Is this functionality something you are looking into?
Hi, thank you for the responses! I have only had Rise 360 for a few months. I was asking about the recording speed because when I was recording directly from the program, the playback was something like 1.5 times the speed at which I was speaking. I couldn't figure out why that was happening. Then I recorded again, and it was regular speed. I realized during the fast recording, i was on wifi, and the other I was plugged in at my desktop. I have tested that multiple times with the same outcome. So I will be only doing recordings when at my desktop. Thanks again!
I would like to add a +1 for a feature where users can control audio playback speed, to make it faster or slower. This would be especially helpful for non-English speakers (when audio is in English).
I would like to be able to narrow the range. Currently the range is too long. I'd like learners to have the capacity to slow it (.75x) and speed it up (1.25x), but not have the means to drag out training hours or move so quickly that comprehension is not likely.
Thanks for the feedback on the type of functionality you'd like to see in Rise 360!
I've included you in the feature report being tracked, and will update this discussion as soon as we have news to share! If you'd like to stay up to date, you can bookmark our Feature Roadmap.
Are you considering integrating the audio speed function into the audio? Given its widespread use across various online platforms to enhance accessibility, its inclusion would offer significant advantages.

Hi JoAnn,
Rise does not have any settings to control audio playback speed.
Hello JoAnn! Thanks for reaching out.
As Karl stated, there isn't an option to change the playback speed of your audio recording in Rise 360.
Would you like to tell us more about a particular use case and why you need this feature?

I understand how that would be helpful, Wendy!
I'll add you to the list and post updates in this forum thread if this option makes it to our feature roadmap or if we make changes that will help!
