Thanks for the ability to change text and background colors in text blocks! However, if using numbered lists or bullets with colored fonts, the text remains black. Could you please update to change the color of the bullets and numbering to the color of the font? Especially when using a dark background color, the black numbers and bullets are really an issue.
Yes, having the same issue now putting white text on a black background. Used the old work-around of changing the bullet color with the Bullets and Numbering dialog, but if I select all text in a box and change the color of the font, the bullet should change, too, right?
The formatting of bullets and numbers in a Rise text block won't use the custom colors you've enabled. I can see how it may help with your course design, so I've shared your thoughts with our team. From here, they’ll determine next steps or where this may fit into our roadmap, but it may be some time until I'd have an update.
We have a lot of new features in development right now, and a bunch more on the roadmap. Stay tuned here in the E-Learning Heroes community or keep an eye on our “What’s New” page!
Hey folks - quick update on this issue. The text editor used in Rise 360 doesn't support formatting the bullet or numbering color. We're requesting improvements in that tool so you can have better control over bullets. I'll keep you posted!
As this was posted 2 years ago, has this feature been added? I don't see it in the New Features page online. Can you change the bullet color in Rise 360?
Thanks for checking in, Cindy. The text editor used in Rise 360 doesn't support formatting the bullet or numbering color. We're requesting improvements in that tool so you can have better control over bullets. We'll let you know if anything changes!
Is it safe to assume this very basic edit feature has not been updated after all these years? Getting around it and using an image block with text would normally be my go-to move; however, due to the auto-resizing feature in Rise this doesn't work for text-based images on all devices without the ability to provide alternative images for different screen types. Is that something that might be easier employed?
Extremely frustrating to say the least, that the ability to change the colour of numbering, bullet points and table outlines have not been updated - despite seeing these features being requested on these forums from up to 3 years ago.
I'd like to add my name to the list of people who would like this very basic feature. I can see why it is not an easy change as the code behind it is not setting a different class to indicate that it's a coloured block. It just sets a background-color style within the main div so you are unable to target an <LI> tag and change its colour. I hope Rise can rectify this soon as it's quite frustrating ;)

Hi Dave! I'm not seeing the bullets and numbering dialog in Rise. Can you tell me where you were able to access this?
Apologies for any confusion. I am speaking of Storyline 360, not Rise.

Any update on this issue? I am facing the same challenge.
I'd really appreciate some control over bullet colour too.

Can you please provide an anticipated date that this will become a feature?
I also would like to match bullets and numbers to the font colour. Looking forward to that change in the future.
I'm sorry I don't have an update on this feature! Thanks for checking in and letting us know it's important to you.
Any update on the ability to change the color of bullets and numbers?
Hi Kim! Thanks for following up! Sorry, no update on this feature yet. I'll update this thread if we have anything new to share!

We are also having this issue. We want to change the color of the bullets for our clients.
Hi,
I would also like to request this feature be added!
My team would love more customization of the color with numbered lists in Rise as well. Please add my name to this request x100!!!
