The size of the flashcards is responsive, meaning the size changes depending on the device you're using. It sounds like you would like to have more customization options for the flashcard block--can you tell us more about what you'd like to see in a feature request? And in case you're interested, here's what we do with all of the great ideas we receive!
I've just been using flashcards in a Rise course. Due to the size of the copy, users have to scroll down within the card to view the full text. This works ok on desktop. However, when viewing this on mobile there seems to be a semi-transparent white box that blocks some of the text.
Thanks for the screenshot! What type of mobile device/mobile browser did you use for testing? It looks like you were using Safari--can you tell me what iOS version you're running?
I'd be curious to test this on various kinds of devices. Would you be able to send me your course Share link? If you'd rather keep it private, you can share it here.
I was curious about this, so I created my own example and I'm seeing what you are describing. It is inconsistent for me, but an issue that certainly makes it difficult to read the flash card.
I'm going to file this as an issue with our team to investigate further. I'll attach this thread as well. Thanks for bringing this to our awareness.
I have added an additional flashcard so now I have 4. Is there a way to make it a square with two flashcards on top and two on the bottom rather than a row of three with one in a second row?
I'm searching for a reply for this - I have exactly the same problem - an odd number of flashcards and the one I want at the bottom row defaults to nearly twice the size of the rows of three.
Hi Jenn! You can do 7 flashcards in a single block so that they're all the same size. Just click Edit in the upper left of that block, and click the Add button beneath the existing cards. It would look like this:
If the one looks awkward at the bottom, I've seen folx add 2 more placeholder cards like this:

Has this been reported as a bug yet?
Is there anything I can do to prevent this?
Hi there Rob,

Hi Guy! You could remove one flashcard from the top block and add it to the block below it!
I'm searching for a reply for this - I have exactly the same problem - an odd number of flashcards and the one I want at the bottom row defaults to nearly twice the size of the rows of three.
Has this been fixed, or is there a workaround?
I wanted to do 4 flash cards so I just did two with two cards per row.
Created a grid with two on top and two on bottom.
Guy
That works if there's an even number or divisible by 3 - I have seven!

I hope that gives you some workarounds!
Thanks so much, Crystal. I'm ashamed to say I'd missed the Add button down at the bottom - hadn't scrolled down far enough!
It would be good to be able to resize the flashcards just by dragging a corner, though!
Can I have 4 cards in a row as well?
There is only one option: three cards in a row.
