Importing a Storyline Drag and Drop into a Rise Package

May 31, 2022

Hi,

I have created a drag and drop activity in Storyline and successfully imported it to Rise.

It works great if I get it right but if I answer it in correctly it doesn't allow me to try again or reset to its initial state while in the same Rise attempt.

I have set the Slide properties to Reset to initial state and the player settings to never resume.

Is there something else I need to do or is this not possible when importing drag and drop from Storyline to Rise?

I have attached the Storyline file for your reference.  I can't see any other settings in Rise.

Kind regards

Robyn

Hi Robyn. Thanks for reaching out and sharing your file. I found a way to reset the drag and drop interaction if you answer it incorrectly. Here is how:

1. Make sure the base layer is set to reset to the initial state when revisiting.

2. Go to the Incorrect layer and add a trigger on the continue button. The trigger is to Jump to this slide when clicked.

3. Publish the course to Review 360 and add it to your Rise 360 course.

Now, when the learner incorrectly answers the drag and drop interaction they will get the pop-up from the incorrect layer. When they click on continue, it will send them to the same slide. This is considered as revisiting the slide and since we have revisiting set to reset to the initial state, the drag and drop interaction will reset the position of the blocks to its initial state. Does this answer your question?
