While the site was down yesterday i was working on a project. I tried to upload a cover photo. Well, that is when i heard about the site issues. Today everything was fine and I completed the project but I still cannot upload a photo. I have an error message that cannot be cleared. I really don't want to start from scratch again.
Thanks - Yes I was able to upload all of my videos perfectly. it is the cover photo that has a message to "Try Again" but the error will not clear. I do not have a menu button to upload. It is missing.
I am having the same problem. I know there were a lot of issues 2 days ago, which were supposedly resolved, but now when I look at a couple of my courses that had cover photos, I still have that error message that cannot be cleared, even when I click the "Dismiss" link.
Hi Martin! Sorry you’re running into this. We just pushed a new Rise release in the last hour that should allow you to dismiss that error. Could you please try uploading the cover photo again, and let me know how you make out?
Yikes, that's a long time to be stuck! I'm glad you reached out--I can help. 😀
In the course settings, under Cover Photo, do you see the trash can icon? If so, is the picture deleted if you click the icon?
Also, what browser were you using when this happened? These are supported for authoring Rise courses. Have you tried uploading the cover photo in a different browser?
I'd be interested to try the upload on my end, if you don't mind sending me a copy of the image file. I'll be standing by!
Thanks, Shawn. I'm going to report this to our administrator. Could you also send me the Share link to your course? If you would rather send it privately, just use this form. If you decide to open a case, be sure to let me know the case number so I can hop in and take a look.
Hello, I am having a similar issue with the cover photo upload error, the error message below can not be removed, there is no trash can icon or ability to delete;
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Request has expired</Message><Expires>2017-10-17T17:02:45Z</Expires><ServerTime>2017-10-17T20:43:33Z</ServerTime><RequestId>35A851F69384F2AB</RequestId><HostId>WGSinoYewZHlbDw7yEh+y3LQth46uZ+A+k1xvw4y2YaT+ZKVFbfq+qt60VEnbTe1SexeGxfRfvs=</HostId></Error>
can I get assistance
on resetting or removing this error so I can select another image?

Thanks for telling us about this, Philip. We don't want you to start from scratch either! I have two questions:
We'll get to the bottom of this!

I click on "Dismiss" but nothing happens and the error is still there. There is NOT trash button or upload option.
Thanks again, Philip. We're taking a look now!
Philip, the problem with your course should now be resolved. Can you please try uploading a cover photo again? Thanks!
I was able to upload the photo and it works... thanks
Glad to hear it, Philip. Let us know if you need anything else!

Thanks,

Great to hear! Thanks for letting us know. :)
Hi, I have tried uploading a cover photo and it would not go through. It has been stuck at Uploading for over a week. I cannot cancel out of it.
How can I get it to clear?

Thanks Alyssa. I appreciate any feedback you can offer. Here is what I

When I push “Cancel” nothing happens. I have tried it on the latest
version of Chrome and Safari.
Attached is the image I am trying to upload.

We've got you squared away. Please go ahead and try the upload again, and let me know if it's successful.
It now works perfectly! Thank you!

Hi all,
We released an update to Rise today. It fixed the issue where Rise cover photos wouldn't always upload.
Check out the Rise Version history to see all the fixes included!
