RISE Exit Course Button

I don't get the Exit Button in the top right as your demo shows, nor do I get the option to choose in the bottom left on a block. The only button/option that appears is Edit. Are there settings, perhaps, I need to adjust to be able to see these options and execute them?

    HI there Greg,

The Exit Course button on the top right is actually a link that you can generate for users to go back to their LMS. It can be created when exporting a course to the LMS.

Click on Export on the top right, scroll down to the bottom, there's a switch that you can toggle on or off.

I've created the Exit Button in Export by toggling the Exit Button to the on position.  When I preview the course I see NOTHING.

Hi Joyce, you will not see the Exit Course link during preview mode.

You will only see it once you have publish your course and run it in your LMS/Web.

Hi Michael - Nothing happened in the LMS when we toggled the switch on. How do we activate it?

  • Hello Erica,

Sounds like you're having difficulty with your Exit button as well.

You followed Michael's directions above to toggle the Exit Course button on during Export? Did you re-upload that content to your LMS to see the change?

  • In my LMS (Learndash) my Rise exit button didn't work if I exported it to SCORM, but it DID work if I exported to xAPI Tin Can.

      Hello,

I saw your post about using Rise with LearnDash.  I was wondering if I could ask you more about how you are using the content?

I'm trying bringing it in as an xAPI (with Grassblade) and setting individual modules within a course as separate pieces of Rise content (so that each Rise module has a set of Lessons/Topics).  Not sure if there is a better way to do this.

I'm also not able to get the Exit course button to return the learner to the course.

Do you have any tips or could you share an example of how you have the Rise content integrated into the LearnDash course builder?

Thank you in advance for any help,

      Cindi

        Cindi,

Did you ever hear anything? I'm having the same issue with the EXIT button and would also love to hear if you figured out an ideal way to integrate LearnDash and Rise.

  • Hello, Eleonora. I'm happy to help.

First, where is your published Rise 360 course hosted? Is it on a learning management system or a web server?

  • Thanks, Eleonora. It sounds like you have hosted your Rise 360 output on a learning management system.

Would you be willing to send us your SCORM output file so we can test the exit button on our side? If that works for you, you can send it privately by opening a case here.
