Rise Font Size
Jan 04, 2023
Hi,
It seems in Rise default font size of text block is 17 px. But, default font size of interactive blocks, such as Accordion and Tabs is 16 px. Is there any reason for this difference? I know we can manually adjust that but just wondering if there is any specific reason for having a different default size for text and interactive block.
Thank you.

Hi Hassan,
Thanks for reaching out!
This was simply a design decision made by our team. If you have any questions on this, please let me know! Additionally, if you'd like to submit a feature request, you can do so, here!
Thank you Kelly
Can we adjust font sized in the cover page?
Hi Ronald!
While you can adjust the font size of the course description area, there isn't a way to adjust the font size of the menu text. Were you hoping to increase the font size of the menu text?
I'd be happy to share that functionality enhancement idea with our team!
Hi! Can you change the default size of the Headings/Subheadings/Paragraph?
Hi Jessica! The default font sizes for the Headings, Subheadings, and Paragraph can't be changed. If we make any updates to this we'll update this thread.
I would love to be able to adjust the default font size for the menu text. It's too small and is an issue for me accessibility wise.
I am having the same issue with some of the blocks- why is the Tab headers so small compared to all the other standard text sizes? I had to update my interaction as my clients were not happy with how hard it was to read.
Amazingly, promises to change this feature were also made in 2019. It is 2024 and still the same answers. Not acceptable!
I'm having the same issue. The default for Captions is 12 pt which is super tiny. We need to increase to 14pts so we have to do this manually. If anyone has a workaround or shortcut, please fill me in!
We have created Block Templates for all the blocks we regularly use.
So we set up up font sizes, colours, padding etc. for all blocks before saving them.
We now build our Rise courses using Block Templates 90% of the time.
Using Block Templates saves us a lot of time, and ensures consistency between team members.
Caption is associated with so many different types of blocks, would be so much easier to format a 'caption' style across the entire module. But it looks like it is the best option for now. Hopefully this will be improved in future updates. Thank you!
