Rise - Try Again option in Quiz

Hi, there appears to be the functionality of removing the Try Again option (reducing number of retries to zero) when a Quiz is a lesson in itself, but when a Quiz is just a block in a lesson this setting option does not appear.  Am I doing something wrong?  If not, any chance this could be considered as an enhancement?

You cannot have a Quiz as a block in a Rise Lesson.

Are you referring to Knowledge Checks?

Yes, a knowledge check - sorry for the confusion

    • Hi Melanie,

As Karl said, that's not currently an option for knowledge checks. If you have time to log a feature request and tell us more about your specific needs, that would be super helpful!

Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

You are correct, you cannot turn off "Try Again" for individual Knowledge Checks.

  • I see that you can try again now on knowledge checks. However, I can't find the setting that displays the correct choices after the student submits their response. I don't want to show the the correct answers on the first attempt so they have the option to try again on their own. Is this possible?

Hi, Amanda. No, this isn't possible right now. Knowledge checks will always reveal the correct and incorrect answers once you submit your choice.

Quizzes, however, allow you to hide feedback and the correct answers. Learners will simply see whether they answered correctly. This is a quiz lesson setting, as opposed to block settings for knowledge checks.

    How do you do this???

      Hi Glynn,

On the Quiz Settings page, turn off Reveal Answers.

When the student answers a question and clicks SUBMIT, it will immediately go to the next question.

Neither the correct answer nor feedback will be displayed.
