Hiya - I've embedded a Storyline file into Rise but it shows as a black screen with a play button. How do I change this so it just starts straight away?
Hi Phil - I don't have any audio or video on the first slide. I have an animation and then the learner needs to click a few hot spots that take them to different layers that play video clips.
You'll see the gray or black cover screen with a play button even if the videos are on layers. I would suggest adding an intro slide with no media to the beginning of the Storyline content. Include a next button that learners will click to access the slide with video layers.
Hi everyone, I have read this discussion and I have a question about it: I have created a drag and drop exercise where I would like to add audio but it is all on one slide and on one level. how can i avoid black screen without removing the audio file?
If you want to keep your audio on the first slide, you can customize the play button screen by adding a course cover photo. You'll have your selected course cover photo instead of a black screen on your Storyline block. I hope this helps!

On mobile it will always display this. On a desktop you can prevent it happening by removing the media (audio or video) on the first slide.

Thank you both, I worked it out from Phil's response after trial and error. This is handy to know so thanks again.
