I decided to rebuild my Hero Creator from Challenge #522 — this time with ChatGPT as my coding partner. Together, we transformed the original Storyline interaction into a fully functional JavaScript version that runs right inside Rise. What started as a simple dial experiment turned into a fun collaboration between creativity, problem-solving, and a little AI magic.

This is great Joe! Loved how you shared your journey here. I've never coded so trying vibe coding was new for me. I'm learning about the challenges with images.
Images can be tough. But I've found that using the right tool for the job helps. ChatGPT does fine with image generation, but when I need something specific, or the same character through multiple images, my go-to is Openart.ai. That really helped me with my last project, as I tried to show an evolving scenario in pictures. I couldn't do it with stock photos, and ChatGPT had problems with consistency.
The cool thing is that I used chatgpt to help me with the prompts for Openart.ai! It really helped me with my prompt engineering. You can do the same with ChatGPT, asking it to help you write the prompt to use in ChatGPT 😁.
