It was quite simple to achieve in the end.
In my screen grab you can see the main stage outlined by the red box. That's what you see on the screen.
The images of the rooms that are off to the sides of the stage become visible when you click one of the arrows. That triggers a motion path to create the animation.
When the animation has completed, there is a trigger that jumps to another layer, with the exact same setup for the part of the office that you're viewing (main image on stage, other images off stage).

DavidTait, your explanation worked like a charm! It took a little bit of adjustment to make sure that all the individual pieces between the different screens lined up correctly, but it looks great!
