  • Hi RachaelLundin-1 thanks for sharing this! I like that the last slide summarizes everything and gives a confidence level. I could see this being a useful reflection in many different courses. Also, I've added an image to your post so people can see a preview. Feel free to adjust it!

I like the final summation slide.  I typically build games and interactives for college courses. I have been pondering how to incorporate more open-ended questions into my interactives.  Yours have given me food for thought.  Thank you!

Curious to know what you do with the information after the learner submits. Do you save it to an LMS, what is the collection methodology?

Good question.  That could be a design flaw, OR a design feature, depending on how you look at it!  The last slide invites the learner to take a screen shot of their responses and bring them their trainer.  The point is that this exercise if for the learn, not the trainer.  It provides a space for the learners to explore what they are unsure about, without that fear that comes with a quiz.  And when we write down our questions, we are more likely to think about solutions.  That said, it would be amazing to have these responses as it would help us figure out better ways to train the material.  Since we don't have a good/easy way to collect them, the feedback loop expands to following up with agency trainers to see what questions they are seeing.  Therefor the collection methodology involves the humans in the loop.

I love using 'write-in' options in my eLearning builds as 'pause-and-reflect' moments in the training. But sometimes the business does not have an appetite for it.

Rachael, what I liked most was the ending slide that directs the learner on the next actions they ought to take post-training. That's a magical path that helps bridge the gap between "I took the course" and "This is how I move forward in IRL as a result of the course."

    Thanks for sharing!🙌🏾
