Storyline: 8-Bit Game-Inspired Example
Think liability is a dry topic that’s sure to put learners to sleep? Think again! This 8-bit game-inspired example looks and feels so much like a video game, you might actually forget you’re learning.

- bobbygarcia-24dCommunity MemberI truly enjoyed both examples, Jonathan. And I also enjoyed pretending that you provided the "Yahoos" in the cowboy game. I'm looking forward to reading into the background soon. Great job!
- JulianCarreoCommunity Memberbrilliant. you are a genious !! Did you use animations to do this?
- Steven_HaighCommunity MemberI can't believe that this is created in Storyline. It is incredible and inspirational.
- VassilikiBoukiCommunity MemberExcellent!!! Many thanks.
- DaviddelCarpio-Community MemberI don't see a download link on this page. Am I missing it?
- Jonathan_HillSuper HeroHi David. I'm afraid I can't share the master file as the content is proprietary. The team at Articulate have showcased this as an example of what can be achieved with SL360, which is very flattering.
But if you're interested in how I put this course together, check out this demo, which uses many of the same techniques.

- bimalclarence-2Community MemberThis is so creative. I loved It! I wonder how it was created in Storyline. Couldn't believe my eyes. Thanks for post.
- SusanMcMenaminCommunity MemberThis is amazing!!! So much fun and engaging for the learner! Inspires me to get better at using the Software when you see the possibilities! Thank you!
- CameoEchols-202Community MemberHow long did it take you to build both of these? If you ever offered a class on how you put this all together, I would totally take it!
- Jonathan_HillSuper HeroThanks Cameo! The example on this page took me about 2 weeks, but is one of a series of courses using the same assets, so that figure may not be accurate. The cowboy example was much quicker, as it is essentially a repeating side-scroller. Just a few evenings, maybe 6-8 hours in total.
I don't have any plans for classes at the moment, but watch this space.
