Ability to hide AI Assitant section of Storyline Toolbar
Now that my trial is up, the AI Assistant section of the toolbar is taking up space on the toolbar. Can we have an option to turn this off? Without having this feature, this is just visual clutter.

It's very strange that we can't do something as basic as customize the toolbar.
Saying, "Create a support case" is hardly the same as bringing your toolbar from the 1980s up to the 2020s and just letting us customers decide what buttons we want.
Further: I can't use the "contact Support" technique because I'm on a team subscription. I can't remove AI from my colleagues that use it just because I find it infuriating and distracting.
Once you fix the many regressions in the current version, please make this a priority. Fix the regressions first, though.

Thank you for your response, Steven! I'd just like to clarify, my organization currently does not have the AI Assistant. However, there are features, such as the voice to text, that use AI voice regardless of having access to the AI Assistant. Are you saying that if we need to turn off the currently available AI voices or any other AI feature all must be disabled together?

Hello E-Learning Heroes!
Happy to hear we are able to have non-functional AI Assistant features disabled if necessary. To tack on to this, is it also possible to disable AI functionality separate of the AI Assistant feature, like the AI text to voice capability or others, on or own or via a request to sales?
Happy to share some insight on this!
Currently, granular control around disabling specific AI features, such as AI Tex-to-Speech is not supported. When account owners e-mail [email protected] requesting disablement, all AI Assistant features will be removed at once.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!

I want to keep this thread alive - keeping nonfunctional features in such valuable screen space feels very hostile to your customers.
Please let us turn this off.
Hi CraigFerguson-a,
Thanks for following up on this. I understand how irritating it can be to have unused features taking up valuable space in your toolbar. Account owners can email [email protected] at any time to request that AI Assistant be disabled for their subscription or free trial. This will remove AI Assistant features from the toolbar. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Commenting to bump this back up. Let us remove the AI toolbar buttons. They get in the way if we aren't using them.
Hello JillTsu-37e00e1,
Thanks for sharing your voice with us! I've shared your insight with our product team. We'll be sure to share any future updates in this thread so all are in the loop!

The provided solution is not agreeable. This should be as simple as unchecking a box in a "customize the ribbon" pane.
Thank you for sharing the insight!
I've relayed your request to our product team. We'll notify you of any future enhancements we make to this process!

Not being able to disable the defunct and annoying AI toolbars in-app is ridiculous. Please let users turn it off.
We appreciate the feedback!
I've included your voice in the feature request to allow AI Assistant language to be disabled, by a user.
We'll update you as soon as we have news to share!

+1 - I don't know how many times I click on the insert text button and have to then click off the resulting advertisement - come on, we paid for our license, have no intention of using the AI features, why am I even seeing this and why are all these AI features taking up so much of my menu bar!!! Surely one AI button would be enough, leading to all the AI options - as is, it's just clutter.
Thank you for sharing the feedback!
I noticed that you've also connected with my colleague Darwin, through a support case. I see that he has submitted your insight to our product team.
We'll update you if we release future enhancements to how AI Assistant language is managed, within Storyline and Rise!

+1 to this for both Storyline and Rise too. Not being able to hide prompts for a tool you are not using is not logical.
Hi Dave_Brown!
Thanks for the feedback!
I've shared your request with our product team. We'll be sure to notify you if we release a future enhancement, for managing AI Assistant language within the authoring tools!

Adding another voice to the thread. Having an unusable set of AI Assistant tools is confusing and clutters up the toolbar. It's basically advertising on Software we are paying for.
