Apply same format to multiple objects simultaneously
Hi BillVernola,
Thanks for reaching out! I understand you'd like to select multiple objects and then format them all simultaneously. This feature is currently available in Storyline 360.
I recommend the following steps to achieve this:
- Select multiple objects in the slide by left-clicking on them while holding the SHIFT key.
- Apply the formatting using the Format tab of the Storyline ribbon or by right-clicking on an object and selecting Format on the dropdown.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.

Hi Eric, is it possible to edit shapes in bulk like that, but over different slides in a story? Essentially, I've recorded a video with instructions, and we have over 100 steps, and when exported slide by slide, but I'd like to change the fill and the colour for them - is it possible to do so in bulk, or just slide by slide?

Hello KerniusLink,
Good question! Storyline does not currently support selecting objects over multiple slides and formatting them in bulk, but it does allow you to select multiple objects and format them within the same slide.
I filed a feature request on your behalf so that our product team can consider adding this to a future Storyline 360 release.
In the meantime, here's how we manage feature requests that we receive. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.
