Apply same format to multiple objects simultaneously
It would be highly productive to be able to select multiple objects simultaneously and then apply a set of formats to all of them at once.
As Eric said, it's not possible to select objects on multiple slides to apply formatting at the same time.
However, when you have one object formatted as desired, you can use the Format Painter to apply the format to other objects.
The Format Painter is on the Home ribbon.
To transfer reformat one other object:
- Select the properly formatted object.
- Click the Format Painter button.
- Click the object to be reformatted.
To transfer the format to multiple objects:
- Select the properly formatted object.
- Double-click the Format Painter button.
- Click each object to be reformatted. You can click objects on other slides, too.
- To stop, click the Format Painter button again.
