Emphasis Animations
If the purpose of the emphasis animation feature is to draw the learner attention TO the element or location on the screen where the animation is occurring, wouldn't it make more sense to set the default Object Trigger settings to begin the animation when the object enters the slide on timeline, rather than current default that doesn't start the animation unless/until the learner selects the object?
I've applied this feature in several past projects and don't recall having to edit the trigger to change it from "When users clicks <object>" to "When <object> enters the slide" before. Am I "mis-remembering" or has the default trigger setting changed?
Hello Annette,
Thank you for adding your request to change the default trigger when adding emphasis animations in Storyline 360. I looked into the history of this feature since it was added in January, and I did not see any change regarding the default trigger. I informed our product team of your request, and we'll let you know if any changes might help.
In the meantime, here's how we manage feature requests that we receive.
