Import/export a list of variables via a csv file
It would be great to have a tool to export/import the variables.
Thank you

Checking in on this again. I am wondering if there's any progress on this suggestion.
Thanks for checking in, Fakefoot! At this time, we don’t have any updates to share on this suggestion.
We hear that managing lots of variables in Storyline can be time-consuming, especially without a way to import or export them in bulk.
You’ve shared that being able to import and export variables via a CSV file would make it much easier to manage and reuse them across projects. We’ve shared your feedback with the team for awareness, and we’ll update this thread if there are any changes.

Dear Lauren,
thank you for your reply even if I open such request 1 year ago. I personally do not like your approach to select features based on the volume of requests. It is a non sense especially in case of features that can simplify the life as you correctly understood. Therefore, I expect to have a solution to import/export variables in a decent timeframe especially in view of the cost of the articulate licence. Thank you.

Hi AndreaBrigan762!
Thanks for checking in on this!
I don't have any updates currently, as our development team prioritizes other requests. We'll be sure to notify you as soon as we have news to share.
Have a great rest of your week!
Hi IraRundell and everyone,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I think it’s an excellent idea to be able to import or export variables using a CSV file. I’ve passed your suggestion along to our product team, and we’ll let you know if it gets added in a future Storyline update.
If you have any other ideas or questions, I’m always happy to help.

Hi Eric
thank you. However I did the same request years ago. So please try to do your best to have this feature implemented asap.

This would be a GREAT feature! Personally, I'd prefer to have this over AI-related stuff.

I re-post again such a request. Is it possible to have a solution? Importing any kind of data can be a very helpful functionality. I have a course with more than 300 variables and we expect to have more in the future. So I really rise your attention to implement an import feature as you did for the glossary time ago. Thank you !

Yes I really hope that they will consider this improvement. If I am not mistaken I already asked for it years ago...
