Please Add Universal Continue Button Settings or Override for Rise

Courses I support use restricted navigation in the Articulate Rise materials I create for them. While necessary for the students, continue buttons that require completion of prior interactions are very cumbersome for the SMEs when they review the Articulate assignments. I can toggle Restricted Navigation off before publishing to Articulate Review, which helps the SMEs a little, but within a lesson/section, the issue with restricted continue buttons remains.

It would be brilliant to have a Continue Button Override checkbox we could turn on when publishing to Review, either greying them out or making all of them unlocked. This would allow collaborators to review projects without needing to complete every interaction.

I completely agree with this request. Articulate Support, what is the latest on this?

      Hi AnneW1,

Thanks for checking in! At the moment, Rise 360 doesn’t have a built-in way to override restricted Continue buttons when publishing to Review.

I can see how that would make SME reviews much smoother, so this remains an open feature request that’s been shared with our product team.

We’ll be sure to let you know if there are any updates to share in the future.

Thank you, EricSantos. It would be a great quality of life improvement for designers and collaborators, so I sincerely hope the product team will consider it. Thanks!

Hello! Are there any updates on this? This is such an important feature and its absence has a huge negative impact on speed and efficiency (and frustration!) for our SME reviewers. They need to be able to jump to the specific spot that got updated, skip past parts that aren't their area of expertise, and not have to worry about being forced to restart from the beginning of the course whenever they restart their computers. I'm really surprised that this is still not an option.

I'd also like to add that it would be great to have the proposed "Continue Button Override" as an option for the Rise 360 "Quick Share" link in addition to Review 360. Please also add an option to bypass quizzes and knowledge checks that are set to "Require correct answer to continue." Basically, I think this option should be expanded to a "reviewer mode" that allows the reviewers to bypass EVERYTHING that restricts their navigation. Even having a separate link would work (i.e., keeping the current methods and existing links as they are, then adding separate Quick Share and Review links for the "reviewer mode" that allows free navigation and bypassing locked content).

Thank you for your consideration 😊

Oh, indeed! Especially now with the rounded corners and other settings!
