Quick Share: Customizable Fields in Guestbook

In addition to full name and email, it would be great to be able to request some optional extra fields in Guestbook:

These fields can appear in the Engagement listings, either muted or when hovered over.

  • Hey Favio_Trasi,

Thanks for the feedback on how we can improve the Guestbook in Quick Share.

The mockup you included does a great job of illustrating exactly what you're envisioning.

When sharing this request with our team, I'd like to include as much real-world context as possible. Has the limited field options in the Guestbook caused you to collect supplementary information through a separate tool or form outside of Rise? If so, how much extra effort does that add to your workflow?

Hi Steven, and thanks for your comment. I’m a partner at Articulate. The context for this request is that I spoke with some small and medium-sized businesses that are considering Quick Share analytics for some of their content that currently goes through the corporate LMS. QS is included in the Articulate 360 subscription and is easy to manage. The analytics would be more useful if they could better identify users: an employee ID number, the group they belong to, etc.

Additionally, Quick Share courses could be presented together on a single aggregator page. Here’s a mockup of that: https://puntomov.com/quickshare-catalog/

Just click on “Admin” and try it out—it takes any Quick Share link and adds it to the catalog. After 30 minutes, everything is deleted and reverts to its previous state.

      Hello Favio_Trasi,

I appreciate you sharing the conversations you’ve had with small and medium-sized businesses. That context helps clarify why customizable Guestbook fields would be useful when teams consider Quick Share for content that currently goes through a corporate LMS.

Your examples of employee ID and group make the reporting need much clearer. Capturing that information in the Guestbook could make Quick Share analytics more useful for identifying learners and understanding engagement.

The aggregator mockup also helps show how teams might organize multiple Quick Share courses in one place. That adds helpful context around the broader workflow you’re envisioning for Quick Share.
