We absolutely love that the team is working to improve this feature. One more element that comes to mind here:
It would be amazing if there were a visual indicator (like a badge or icon) somewhere in the "Edit Image & text" dialogue that allowed designers to know if the image was uploaded with "Preserve File Quality" toggled on.
