Next Steps
Now that you know how animations and transitions work in Storyline 360, it’s time to put those skills into practice. Here are some suggested activities to help you get started working with animations and transitions using AnimationsTransitions_PRACTICE from the downloads:
- Practice 01: Apply entrance animations to the two characters. Try different combinations, durations, and styles to see how they work. Then apply exit animations using different options.
- Practice 02: Play the audio (press Spacebar or click the play button) and add cue points (press C) after each sentence. Align each of the chat boxes and next button to the cue points by dragging their start and end frames in the timeline. Apply the fade entrance and exit animations to the objects.
- Practice 03: Play the audio (press Spacebar or click the play button) and add cue points (press C) after each sentence. Apply a fade in animation to the List 01 text box and change the Effect Options to “By Paragraph”. Align each text box to the cue points. You’ll need to expand the group for List 01 to view the paragraph objects.
- Practice 04: Apply transitions to the slides. Try using different transitions styles for each slide to see how transitions work.
