Hello, Does anyone have a simple template or guide they use with SMEs when asking them to review content in Review 360? Would love to be able to attach something simple my review requests so SMEs know what they are looking for, and how to provide feedback. What I have found online tends to be more aimed at a developer audience. Thanks!38Views1like4CommentsDON’T CLICK APPROVE YET.
Before spending credits on an AI video render, lock the story, references, camera direction, timing, and scene details. I used Higgsfield Supercomputer to plan and refine this 15-second HUD promo and documented the complete workflow. Hi Everyone! I'm working on an online orientation course and have created an AI generated Avatar to be the course's "guide." The way I have the Avatar set up is in video format so she can speak to the viewer. Right now the Avatar videos are set to Automatically play when the user is on the slide that a video is on. However, I'm trying to be cognizant of screen readers as I want the orientation course to be Accessible. I know that it's best practice to set videos up to either play when clicked or triggered but I kind of feel that that takes away from the role of the Avatar as the guide. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can set up these Avatar videos to make them work with a screen reader but not take away the guide role? Thanks!!93Views0likes3CommentsEditing SCORM files. Latest developments?
Hi Everyone. I just want an update on the current position of SCORM file editing software. I know that the best solution is still to have the original file that was used to publish the SCORM, but I have noticed an increasing number of companies offering software to allow you to: replace images, video, in a SCORM file. Editing text still appears to be limited? print the SCORM file as a pdf, Word or Powerpoint file. My question is, has anyone used a product like this. Was it any good?41Views0likes1CommentWhat's your workflow for keeping e-learning courses organized?
I'm creating a few e-learning courses and I'm looking for a better way to keep everything organized as the project grows. How do you manage your course files, revisions, and media assets to make updates easier later on? I'd love to hear any tips or best practices that have worked well for you.61Views0likes2CommentsAI Tools for Video Editing
I'm familiar with the old standards for video editing but I am not current on how AI is being integrated into existing or new tools. Is there a tool out there where I can tell the AI to find and remove certain sounds (for example, the Teams chime when someone enters a meeting) without having to do it manually?55Views0likes1CommentGuided Feedback for Failed Exams in Storyline
I created an entry exam for an in person course and I want to provide specific feedback on what the student needs to study before taking the exam again if they fail. Here are the details: The feedback layer for each question is turned off. We don't want them to know what they got right or wrong during the exam. There are 92 questions total between all question banks but only 40 questions total in the exam, selected randomly: QB1 = 5 questions QB2 = 5 questions QB3= 5 questions QB4 = 10 questions QB5 = 15 questions For the sake of this discussion, the question banks cover Apples (QB1), Oranges (QB2), Grapes (QB3), Plums (QB4), and Blueberries (QB5). A passing score is 80% If the student does not pass, and the majority of failed questions is from QB4 (for example) I want a message on the results slide that says something like: "Before retaking this exam, take time to review topics covering Plums." If incorrect answers are evenly divided among all question banks, feedback should be limited to the two QBs with the most wrong answers; anything beyond that gets too complicated. If they pass, no additional feedback is required. Any advice on how to pull this off is appreciated!Solved36Views0likes5CommentsNewbie starting eLearning series; Templates
I am leading an effort to do the following: Create a style guide for eLearning design and development for training on and salesforce and subsequent implementation. (done) Create three types of eLearning templates in Storyline to create: demo try it test it Getting started is the hardest! I have a semi-template design idea and we have our guidelines, but are there best practices to creating standard templates that will be replicated for the many 'steps/processes' our learners will need to learn, do and test out. We will have end-users who will use these eLearnings as pre-work. They have to test out to move onto the next eLearning and then the in-person training. Thank you for helping get us started!50Views1like1CommentFrench Canada Translation export
Hello E-Heroes, I am experiencing an issue with Storyline 360 translation exports and would appreciate your comments/help. Smartling (translation platform) claims their .xliff is ok Issue Summary I have successfully created and translated multiple language versions of the same Storyline course (approximately 10 languages) without any issues. However, the French (Canada) version behaves differently. Steps Performed Open the original English (.story) file. Export Word for Translation → Success. Create a copy of the English course using Save As. Export Word for Translation from the copied course → Success. Import the translated FR(CAN) XLIFF file. Translation imports successfully and all content appears correctly translated. Export XLIFF from the FR(CAN) version → Success. Export Word for Translation from the FR(CAN) version → Fails with the message: "The translation export failed." Thank you!!!31Views0likes2Comments
