289 TopicsIssue with navigation triggers
This Storyline file I'm attaching includes Jeopardy style trivia game starting in scene 6. Slide 6.3 is the board and each question disappears as it is asked. Once the board is cleared, the triggers correctly go to slide 6.4 which is the Final Jeopardy question. The issue is going back from Final Jeopardy to the Board. What is supposed to happen is, once the Final Jeopardy Question is answered correctly or incorrectly it goes back to the now empty board and shows the total number of questions answered correctly. While the scoring element is fun, the main objective is that we want them to get at least 80% of the questions correctly, which in this case is 21 out of 26. That message is supposed to show up with how many they got right based on some triggers I made. Here is the issue that is happening, (and it's really weird because this doesn't happen with any of the other questions) once the final Jeopardy question is answered and the user clicks "continue" it is supposed to trigger back to the board, instead it keeps showing the "correct" or "incorrect" message over and over again. I tried a few things with the triggers to correct this but nothing I've tried has worked. The fastest way to test this is to preview slides 6.3 and 6.4 only and click through all the board buttons (200, 400, 600, etc.). You'll get the "can't jump to slide" message but the buttons will switch to a hidden state. Once the buttons are all hidden, final jeopardy will appear after you click the "play" button in the player (it will do it automatically in the regular version but in this instance, you have to click play). Then you'll go to final jeopardy and answer it right or wrong and then things will play out as I described. Any ideas?Solved61Views0likes4CommentsPIN Entry Not Working
Hello Community! I've got this slide on my project where the user has to enter a PIN. In each box, a bullet is supposed to appear (non-negotiable, has to be bullets) using code because I do not have a bullet point font. This slide has been working for weeks until all of a sudden, I went to test it today and it only allows me to input a value for the variable "Box1". Can someone please take a look at slide 4.3 and see if you can figure out what happened? There is a button on the first slide that will allow you to jump right to the slide in question so that you do not have to go through half the project to get to that slide. Hi everyone, I’m exploring a new approach for an eLearning project and wanted to tap into the community’s experience. I’m trying to create a virtual tour similar to what you see in real estate listings — where learners can look around a space, click hotspots, and navigate room‑to‑room. I’m using an Insta360 X5 to capture the environment, and building the course in Articulate Storyline. So far, I’ve learned that Storyline supports 360° images (equirectangular JPGs), and that I can reframe 360° video into standard MP4s for use in regular slides. But before I go too far down the rabbit hole, I’d love to hear from anyone who has actually created a virtual tour like this. Have you ever built a real‑estate‑style tour in Storyline? What was your capture workflow? How did you process your 360 photos or videos? Did you run into any limitations with Storyline’s 360° image feature? Any tips for hotspot design, navigation, or performance? I’m especially interested in hearing how you structured the project so the learner experience feels smooth and intuitive — similar to Zillow, Matterport, or CloudPano tours, but inside Storyline. Thanks in advance for any insights or examples you’re willing to share! — Harry22Views0likes0CommentsCollege Level Courses with Articulate
Any professors out there? I am a professor at a Florida college that is about to launch a class in Interactive Media Production and am trying to incorporate Articulate in the curriculum. Does anyone know of a similar program or college level course?48Views0likes3CommentsBranching quizzes in Rise to create iterative quizzes
Hello! My colleagues and I are currently trying to provide a quiz option within our Rise courses that would enable the following path; Initial assessment on (x) topics. Pass rate of ≥ 80% for the initial assessment would mean a learner could then proceed to the next topic Pass rate of ≤ 80% for the initial assessment would then lead you to a learning module, with information about the topic. You would then be able to take a module, and have to score ≥ 80% to pass. If failed, you would be taken back to the specific modules failed to then revisit the relevant information before retaking the quiz. Any questions not answered correctly in the initial instance could then be reworded and placed in a "take again" version of the quiz. I have created a version of this in 360 using the Article below to enable this to be tracked on our LMS: Storyline 360: More Quizzing and Tracking Options However, I understand that if this 360 quiz was added as a block in a Rise quiz, it could not be tracked in our LMS. Is anyone aware of a way to make this work? Or can someone please point me in the direction of how to ask for this to be amended in Rise to enable tracking? If it were possible, I think this could be resolved if the assessment settings in Rise were changed. Many thanks! George31Views0likes1CommentAssistance Required: Audio Playback Issue on Client LMS
Hi Team, We created and delivered the Storyline modules to the client around six months ago, and at that time all the audio worked correctly. Recently, we made some updates to the modules and shared the revised versions with the client. However, after uploading the updated modules to their LMS, none of the audio files are playing. Could you please let us know what might be causing this issue and if there are any known reasons or troubleshooting steps we should check? Thank you in advance for your assistance.41Views0likes2CommentsStoryline audio stops working on random slides
I’ve been working with Storyline for some time, but this time I’ve encountered an issue where I’m unable to identify any clear cause or logic behind what’s happening. I currently have four modules published from Storyline, both for SCORM and Review. During the review process, one of my colleagues commented that a particular slide did not have audio. However, when I checked, the audio was present on the slide timeline and played correctly on my end in both Review and Preview. Another co-worker of mine also confirmed that the audio worked for her. 🙃 I then published the module to SCORM and uploaded it to Moodle. While conducting final testing, I noticed that a few slides are experiencing the same issue. The audio does not play when the slide starts. To make the audio work, I either need to: go back to the previous slide and return to the slide, or let the slide timeline finish (in restricted mode), then drag the timeline back to the beginning, at which point the audio starts playing. I would prefer not to create a trigger on every slide to play the audio, as the audio should automatically play when the slide timeline starts. Additionally, most of the slides are working correctly, and only a few slides are affected, which makes it difficult to determine the cause. if anyone has encountered similar issues and have some suggestions or tips on how to fix this. I would greatly appreciate the help!!!Solved2.2KViews0likes63CommentsMultiple Tries on Quiz
I'll try to make this as simple as I can. Goal: User clicks "Retry Quiz" then "Start" and proceeds logically through the questions. They either start with the scenario introduction or one of the response-based questions. If they start with the scenario the slides have to go in order. The quiz is a question bank with three response-based questions and one scenario hotspot process. Issue: When the user clicks "Retry Quiz" and "Start", they can get jumped to a random slide in my hotspot process (even though all the hotspot questions are locked). Essentially the user clicking "Retry" breaks the logic I put on the question bank. I am still fairly new to question banks, so help is appreciated!SolvedAI Chatbots in Storyline
Chatbots in Storyline? Meet Sarah. What if your eLearning course could talk back? I built an AI-powered chatbot right inside the D-ID app and then designed inside Articulate Storyline, and named her Sarah. She’s more than a character. She’s a smart, interactive course concierge that answers learner questions using your course’s knowledge base. No more digging through PDFs or endless menus; just ask, and Sarah responds. Watch the quick intro: 👉 https://youtu.be/HOLTi-zFNcw?si=14xJYC-0UEFGtnYV Sarah’s just the start of smarter, more human learning in 2025.761Views4likes5CommentsOptional trainings and individual dates for completion
Hi, I was trying to assign the course to one of my colleagues but to make it not mandatory, just for testing purposes and unfortunately I found out there is no such option. Maybe I am missing something, is it possible to assign the training to somebody that is not mandatory and for rest it is? And is there a way to for one person assign it for 7 days to complete and for the other for 14? I feel like it is a basic option, it would be really helpful. Thank you37Views0likes1Comment
