New to the E-Learning Challenges?

The weekly challenges are ongoing opportunities to learn, share, and build your e-learning portfolios. You can jump into any or all of the previous challenges anytime you want. I’ll update the recap posts to include your demos.

If you have a blog, please consider writing about your challenges. We’ll link back to your posts so the great work you’re sharing gets even more exposure. If you share your demos on Twitter, try using #ELHChallenge so your tweeps can track your e-learning coolness.

Version 1.0
  • Great stuff. One of my favorites of the week is seeing what the community comes up with.

@Jackie: the talking hand reminds me of a video course a few years ago that was similar.
  • A little late to this challenge but things have been hectic around the office the last several days. I hope you enjoy this "flavorful" demo. It's full of e-Learning goodness! (wink! wink! Jackie). You can find the demo and my write-up here:

@Jackie: I know I promised something a little more edgy but I was waiting on a "part" that did not arrive in time. I suspect I will be able to incorporate it into another challenge. If not, I'll come back to this one and produce a second one for your amusement.

Now that I've caught up, I'm looking forward to reviewing what everyone has created.

    Richard
  • @David - Great new post format! The perfect way to highlight everyone's work. Thanks so much for doing it.

@Tom - That makes me feel a little bit better. :)
  • Very fun challenge! It was great to see others have fun with their videos.
  • Thanks for this David, it's a great way to see what everyone has come up with which is always really interesting and they always give me lots of ideas.

Also, thanks David for creating those cool pics with screen shots of our videos/modules in them.
  • Oh man. I love this format and there are so many amazing entries this week.
But was hoping to get my post in before you did the recap! (My own weekly challenge...)
    Well, it's coming soon.
  • Hey Richard your tutorial turned out great! I was hooked at lesson 1 with the stem trick. We eat avocados almost daily here and the only selection trick I used was the primitive squeeze trick.

Nice touch with the remote control. The first time I went through your project I totally missed the finger selecting the video number on the remote. Love it.

Thanks for sharing this week, Richard. I hope you're now able to kick back and enjoy some guac while watching the rest of the challenge demos.

  • Thanks David. The next time you go to the grocery, I'm sure a few stems will be found around the avocado section. I was wondering if you would notice the number selection on the remote control...you really do watch these demos! :)
