How to Make Perfect Smoothies #394: Challenge | Recap

"Hold on, cowboy! You can't blend it till you put the top on."

Making the perfect smoothie is like designing effective e-learning.

Just as you need to put the right ingredients in a blender to create a delicious and healthy smoothie, you need to mix the right content design and interactive elements into your e-learning course to make it meaningful. Smoothies are also a tasty way to practice building e-learning. And that's what this week's challenge is all about.

To help you find your perfect recipe, I've gathered some examples from the community.

The Perfect Smoothie

This delightful interactive smoothie demo was featured at DemoFest and the inspiration behind this week’s challenge. It features text-entry variables for capturing the learner’s name, sliders for setting difficulty levels, Vyond animations, drag-drop, custom graphics, and much more.

Green Monster

This project was one of the first demos Jenette built in Storyline 1. It features a rich blend of custom graphics, drag-and-drop, audio narration, and number variables. Storyline has come a long way in ten years, but this project is still an excellent example of good instructional and interactive design.

Challenge of the Week

This week, your challenge is to design an interactive example to teach learners how to make the perfect smoothie or fruit shake.
