How to stop slide layer playing audio through button

Hey,

I was hoping someone would be able to help me. I'm currently working on a flip the card animation in articulate where audio will play on each layer when it's clicked on. The audio button on the base layer will pause as expected when the user clicks on it to a disabled state. However, it is not pausing when the audio button is a disabled state on any of the slide layers.

My slide layer settings are correct. Can anyone please advise if I'm missing anything?

The audio on each slide will stop if another layer is clicked on but I want the users to be able to pause it mid sentence if they don't want the audio playing.

  • Hi emjlew I've uploaded an example for you. I think you will have to avoid the "Disabled" state of the button if you want users to be able to toggle the audio back on. If the button is "Disabled" it will no longer accept user input.

Also, "Pause" may be better for the toggle button, as when you allow the user to "Play" again, it will pick-up from where it left off, rather than starting again, which is what happens when you use Stop.

I organised the triggers a little differently:

Let me know if this is missing something you needed.
