Hello everyone! My name is Samantha Braun, and Iām based in St. Paul, MN, where I work as a Learning Design Specialist at Allina Health. I bring a 16-year background in nursing, with experience both at the bedside and in formal education. I joined my organization's Learning and Development department in 2021, and in my current role I design and develop a broad range of learning experiences for both clinical and non-clinical roles.
I joined this cohort because Iām really interested in sharpening how I use AI in my day-to-day work, particularly when building in Articulate. I already use Articulateās AI tools, but I know thereās more potential there. Iām hoping to learn how to design and develop faster and more intentionally, so I can free up time for the creative thinking, troubleshooting, and relationship-building that I enjoy most and that ultimately leads to better learning experiences.
Here's Clementine, my trusty office companion.

I have three dogs & a cat! Our senior girl, Maya, recently joined the land of the remembered. But, the twins, Joonie & Cha-Cha, are bull-shihtz and remain in the land of the living terrorizing everything from the sofa covers to anything that flies. The cat remains elusive.

We recently made the switch to use Articulate 360 exclusively for online learning development within our organization so we are currently developing our standards and processes to implement that change. Our team is always looking for more information to pass along to our learning developers and hoping to gain more knowledge around AI Assistant. Looking forward to working through this over the next 2 weeks!

Hi everyone! Iām Melissa Priebe, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and I work in Professional Services at Thomson Reuters as a Learning Experience Designer. Day to day, I design and build learning experiences that help people do their jobs betterāpartnering with stakeholders, translating complex information into clear, engaging learning, and continuously iterating based on feedback and outcomes.
I joined this Certification Cohort to sharpen my skills, learn from others doing similar work, and bring more intention and rigor to how I design and measure learning experiences. Iām hoping to walk away with practical tools, new perspectives, and a strong community I can continue learning alongside.
Outside of work, I share my home (and my desk) with my three cats, Bowie (left) Ziggy (right) and Toothless (not pictured). I get to work from home a few days a week, which usually means theyāre nearby supervising meetings, napping on notebooks, or reminding me to take breaksāone of the perks of remote work I appreciate most.
