The Articulate Tab is missing. The PPTX .COM handler/add-in was removed. (Removed, not disabled.) Things we have tried:
1. Handler file does not appear to show up, so we cannot add it back in...if we're looking for the right file name in the right location. We think we are.
2. Reinstalling Studio did not fix
3. Reinstalling Articulate 360 did not fix
4. Tab does not appear as PPTX Admin or regular user

It looks like you've attempted a few steps on your own to troubleshoot, and I can understand how frustrating this issue is, so I went ahead and opened a support case on your behalf with our engineers. You should hear from them soon via e-mail.
Reporting back. We found some older company-internal documentation suggesting that when the handler is actually removed, MS office needs to be either repaired or reinstalled, and the Articulate Products need to be reinstalled. That did the trick for us!
