Hello! Is there a way to restrict navigation in Engage interactions so that the learner cannot move from tab to tab without listening to the entire audio file placed within that tab? One of our clients is requesting this functionality. I can see that I can restrict the learner moving on until they have viewed all tabs, but I don't see where I can restrict them from moving from tab to tab unless the audio file is complete. Thank you!
So if I'm understanding correctly- there isn't a way to have the learner both control the interactivity in the tabs AND be restricted to hearing the entire audio file on each tab before they move to another. Sounds like we either need to do presentation mode (no interactivity) or keep the interactivity but the learner can leave each tab before hearing the complete audio. Is that right?
Hi - I know this is an old thread but I am wondering the same thing and was checking if any changes have happened in the last few years to restrict the Engage tabs from navigating to the Next tab/slide until audio completes?
We haven't changed this setting in Engage 360. It sounds like using Storyline 360 might work better for what you're looking to create. In Storyline 360, you can restrict navigation until the media completes by using triggers. Let me know if you need help setting up this type of interaction!
Thank you for the reply and suggestion. I am testing importing the Engage Interactions into Storyline and then apply triggers to control navigation. I also will time how long it will take to rebuild the slides in Storyline. This course needs to be updated routinely so I want it to be as easy to use and edit as possible.

Hi A L!
You would want to set this via Playback mode in Engage. Check out this tutorial.
Thank you Leslie!

Hi A L,
Correct - it's a one or another scenario in this set up.
Good luck with your project!
