Hi everyone!
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 74, we've included important fixes and new features.
One of the new features we've included is:
- Create immersive experiences with continuous background audio that sets the tone and keeps learners engaged.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you have questions!

Hi!
A possible solution might be to use layers instead of slides and having the audio play on the base layer. If you set the layer triggers based on the timeline of the base layer you can have the layer come up when the specific part of the audio plays as well.
If that does not fit with the project, you can segregate the audio manually using an audio snipping tool and play specific parts of the audio on designated slides instead.
Let me know if that works out for you.
It would be so wonderful to be able to add an audio track across a whole project (multiple slides) rather than having to cut it up. Or - to be able to group slides into one bigger slide with it's own timeline (for adding audio).

Especially given your very high price point.
This solves this...
Improved this, so you only need to change the 'resources' and change the variable 'audioFile' to the proper name.
I used this technique for adding universal audio to my Storyline project and it worked great. I put together a video and blog post with all the necessary javascript for anybody that is interested.
