Caption Use Cases

Any audio can have captions, so there’s really no limit to where (layers ...) you can show them.

Closed captions are part of the Player, so they’re not included when publishing for video. As a workaround, you can manually create a comprehensive caption file using another tool.

I've never created a caption file before and am looking for an easy way to add captions to videos. The files will be placed on our intranet which is why I cannot publish them to SCORM.

We don't currently have a feature in Replay where you can create captions. However, we have logged this as a feature request and linked this discussion. I'll review this with my team and update you in this discussion. 

In the meantime, I hope members of the community will share workarounds if they've achieved something similar.
