Since yesterday, I am getting an error when importing Excel file with Questions. I do this many times and never had any issues. I tried changing the story file, and also changing the Excel file, and I am still getting the error.
Also, when I try to open the Excel file afterwards, it says it is in use.
The only thing different is that I am currently working in the US rather than Europe. I am normally based in Europe, but working in the US for 3 weeks.
I have found a work around. I used "Importing Slides from Another Storyline Project" and then updated each question. It generates more work for me but at least I can get on with my tasks. However, if anyone can help with the general issue (importing questions from an Excel file), I would really appreciate it.
Thank you for sharing a screenshot of the error! Sometimes that error appears if either the .story file or excel file isn't saved to your local hard drive (typically your C: drive).
If both files are saved to your local hard drive, then it would be helpful if we could test this out on our end. Do you mind sharing both the .story file and excel file with us? You can share it in this discussion or privately in a support case!
