Giving partial credit for a so-so answer to a multiple choice question

I am working on a course that has been set up in Articulate Storyline 2. I have 5 multiple choice questions scattered throughout the course.
Due to the "soft" nature of some of the content, for each m-c question there is one REALLY GREAT answer, two ACCEPTABLE answers, and one answer that is REALLY WRONG. I want to give 20 points to the learner if they choose the really great answer, and 10 points to the learner if they choose one of the acceptable answers. But the way multiple choice questions are set up in Storyline, each answer is either right and gets full credit, or wrong and gets no credit. Is there a way to add a third category, so that I can give partial credit to one or two of the answers?

Yes, this is doable. I will create a sample but in 360.
Hi Mary,
I have here a sample. See if this is what you want.
This is created in 360.
I can't open it. I have Storyline 2.
Can you describe how you did it, Daniel?
Hi Mary,
If you don't mind, you can install the Trial Version of Storyline 360.
Did you managed to play the published version as attached in my previous post?
Hi Mary,
You may not need any special setup to do this as multiple choice questions allow you to assign a score by choice:
A learner will still be correct or incorrect but you can at least track the points using the option above!
Hello Ashley,
Thank You, I was looking for this for a long time and scratching my head on how to get this done! How do we customize the feedback to show the points earned. For example, say Choice 1 earns 10 points, Choice 2 earns 5 points and Choice 3 earns 0 points. At the end the report should show the choices made and the points earned.
Hi Mandar,
I'm glad that you found this conversation to get you headed in the right direction.
The ability to score by choice is available for Multiple Choice, Word Bank, Freeform Pick One, and Freeform Hotspot questions.
In addition, the feedback can be provided by choice as well:
Storyline 360: Choosing Feedback and Branching Options
The score and answer will be sent to the LMS for reporting.
Hi Leslie,
The quiz part I could do, thank you. I want to know if the Printed Report can be customized somehow. Earlier this used to be possible by editing the HTML output file. The quiz will be stand alone and will not be connected to an LMS. Basically it should prinout the questions and the answers, with the score without labeling them as "Correct" or "Incorrect". I am using Storyline 3, not Storyline 360.
Hi, Mandar.
While we don't provide support for modifying published output in this manner, take a look at the article below for information on editing the HTML file:
